home about flashwork illustrations video a little more info on mindchamber story 1 comment ok i dont think i 8217 ve ever posted a simple outline or teaser on what mindchamber is actually about most know the name as my username others know it involves some steampunk looking robot a lot of people really dont have any idea overall what the story is about so since i 8217 m taking a break here from drawing i figured i throw down a quick synopsis without spoiling the story of course ok mindchamber is the fictional story of an autonomous robot that was secretly created in the late 1800 8242 s by the at the time world famous nikola tesla it was his answer of the machine to end all wars after a series of unfortunate events from installing the robot 8217 s main weapon and the explosion of tesla 8217 s lab in manhattan telsa quickly covers up the event and hides the robot years have passed with the robot hidden moved from place to place by loyal followers of tesla 8217 s work until a catastrophic event in 1986 causes the robot to reactivate the mindchamber robot then heads back to new york in search of tesla and clues to what has happened over the years he was in statsis being self aware the robot keeps out of sight moving only at night and through the alleyways of new york searching for a labratory that no longer exsists mc finds a postcard that activates a series of images its a postcord of niagra falls it is now his next destination while waiting for nightfall within the ruins of the south bronx mc comes across a boy joey is a 10 year old austic child with many mechnical talents the two form a bond and joey helps mindchamber on his journey north ok thats all i am going to say storywise but will say this i definitely want this story out of me and im tired of just sitting back and letting the story stagnate staying only in my mind and personal papers deeming it not good enough the story is fucking great and i 8217 m ready to tell it stay tuned mc mindchamber may 27 2011 personal works pico day and beyond 3 comments so pico day has come and gone and everyone had a great time it was nice to see some old faces as well as some new ones zombiepimp and frostedmuffins came by i worked on red baron with these guys and it was great to see them in person arvand zombiepimp has actually been on my site since he was 13 he said he saw a picture of my robot and the boy and that got him interested in the site he then followed me onwards to newgrounds where he made a name for himself with his animations frosted and i have been making games since he was 14 it was great to finally meet both and everyone one else that attended as much as pico day was about pico cartoons tank awards and tom fulp i couldnt help but feel this push by artists to finish my mindchamber story the story of a boy that meets a robot created over a decade prior was something i kept getting asked about it was very surprising to be honest thats until i saw osukas final pico day animation what i originally thought to be a simple cameo of the mindchamber robot ended up being a center piece of the animation it was definitely awe inspiring flattering and even made me a bit embarrassed here is an animator that loved my robot and its story of what i told him so far and made an animation around him if this animator could be inspired by my creation then why hasnt it inspired me the mindchamber robot inquiries didn 8217 t stop there deadspread83 the author and artist behind the comic 8220 1976 8243 insisted that i should finish the mindchamber story in comic form if animating it proved too daunting to date the actual mindchamber story exsists only in sniplets on old harddrives and in the back corners of my mind ive been too afraid to actually piece together the story simply because i felt like i didnt have the ability to do so all that changed when hans van harken gave me this final gift that set me in motion i have promised hans that i would have this journal filled by the time he returns to the office but i think i will be able to fill it sooner than that you will definitely see mindchamber media this year mindchamber may 9 2011 ramblings laquo older entries categories client works personal works ramblings tags alloy mindchamber nikola tesla optimus prime peter cullen recoil robot steampunk tesla coil transformers twittoidz m bots 039 vicious boar mode http fb me p4ocnrkn 2 days ago m bots 039 vicious boar mode http fb me 10j69mahi 2 days ago http www youtube com watch v 5zuk9hot5hy what a wonderful indie movie ive had this on my instant cue for http fb me ykuufodm 5 days ago 40 seconds into this trailer look at the move prime pulls off on megatron does it look familair hmmmmmm 3 http fb me siofgdi4 5 days ago distractions copy 2010 valid xhtml transitional 1 0 valid css 2 1 theme by blogtap net newgrounds kongregate facebook twitter tumblr myspace youtube vimeo linkedin imdb
